McGregor shares sparring clips from ‘full scale octagon in his garden’

Conor McGregor has shared fresh sparring footage of him honing his craft in the octagon set up in his garden. 

Placed under a marquee in the grounds of his home around 40 minutes from Dublin, the full size UFC replica octagon is used by the Irishman, who has not fought in the organisation for approaching three years. 

His comeback has been followed with fascination and the latest update from Dana White is that autumn is being targeted for the return. 

Alongside his video, McGregor wrote: ‘The double goat, I have the full scale octagon in my garden with the canvas covered in billion dollar businesses. IRELAND BABY!!’

In the first clip he connects with a solid left hand that his sparring partner acknowledges with a nod.

McGregor is training to come back and Dana White has outlined his plan for autumn

The second shows some evasion skills and a glancing body kick, while the third is from mount. 

In another video he connect with a straight left before following it with an uppercut and body kick that appears to wind his training partner. 

It is at least encouraging to see ‘Notorious’ back working hard and tracking towards coming back to fight in the UFC again.
